Bauhaus Furniture Group Enters Occasional Category

Upholstery specialist Bauhaus Furniture reported that it will expand its product portfolio to include a selection of occasional tables to coordinate with its broad upholstery styles. The 11 table groups will make their debut at the Spring High Point Market in the Tupelo, Miss.-based upholstery manufacturer’s new, expanded showroom located in The Atrium on Main.

As part of a strategy to better serve its retail customers with a complete product offering for the living, great and family rooms, the company’s tables span a range of style families, including mid-century modern and farmhouse designs. The occasional collections will marry well with Bauhaus’ traditional, transitional and contemporary upholstery frames debuting at the Market.

“Our new tables are a perfect complement to our growing upholstery offerings,” said Aaron Larry, senior vice president of sales and merchandising for Bauhaus. “By branching out and expanding into other categories, we’re giving our retail partners the ability to help consumers create homes they love. Our new showroom, which is significantly larger than the previous one, will provide more than enough space to display this new category.”

Highlights to the new occasional category include the Boden Group, which offers mid-century modern style with its splayed legs and unique drawer fronts which feature concave design details which are accented with simple knob hardware.

With its traditional farmhouse styling, the Kalmar tables pair perfectly with four new slipcover groups making their debut this Market. Design details include a planked top, X-slat details and casters. The bottom shelf and lower drawers provide plenty of storage.

With sleek and curvy cabriole legs, the Lund Cocktail Table rests on casters making it the ideal pull-up table for an extra surface where needed. A bottom shelf provides extra space for display or storage.
With planked wood tops and industrial-styled casters, the Stockholm table group provides a unique look that is perfect for casual interiors.

Available in a rich café or glazed white finish, the Trosa occasional tables provide transitional styling with their geometric bases which feature two interlocking rectangles that support wood framed glass table tops.

The new occasional line, and the expanded upholstery collection, from Bauhaus can be seen in the company’s High Point Market showroom located in Suite 200 at the Atrium on Main located at 430 S. Main Street.
