Therapedic And Copper River Home To Release New Seating Line

Therapedic International and Copper River Home recently announced that they have inked a deal that brought lines of power recliner lift chairs, massage chairs, office seating and swivel recliners to High Point market under the Therapedic name.

The new seating lines, which will retail from $399-$1,199, were developed by industry veteran Philip Bell, who was the founder of Bell Furniture Industries, a premier furniture manufacturer and distributor.

Now as a managing partner of Copper River Home, based in Mooresville, NC, Bell and his team spearheaded the seating categories that are being co-developed with the Therapedic team.

The seating segments, which were debuted at the High Point Market at Copper River Home’s permanent showroom at space 214, Atrium on Main, 430 South Main Street, include the following products:

  • Thera-Rise™ Power Recline Lift Chairs, a fully featured line that offers amenities including Carbon Fiber Heat, Massage and Live Smart Liquid/Stain Repellent performance fabrics from Culp.

  • Therapedic Full Feature Massage Chairs in a range of prices that are high on value, but feature-rich like every Therapedic offering in the global marketplace.

  • Therapedic Home Office Seating, a full line of seating targeted for the growing segment of consumers who work at home in small businesses. Models here feature adjustable backs, lumbar support and fabric treatments that range from mesh to fully upholstered.

  • Therapedic “Relaxation Loft” Swivel Recliners are another part of the growing trend in leisure relaxation. Particular attention has been given to pressure mapping and overall comfort coupled with a wide range of materials and finishes.

According to Bell, Copper River Home, which will warehouse the products in Lexington, NC, will oversee the sales, marketing and distribution.

The products, set to be available at the end of May, offer weight capacities ranging from 325-500 pounds.
