Jerome’s Furniture Donates More Than $6,000 In Furniture For Foster Children

Jerome’s Furniture recently announced that it has donated more than $6,000 worth of furniture to help foster children in the Los Angeles area.
The company assisted in furnishing the new First Star facility near the UCLA campus that will serve to improve life for child victims of abuse and neglect.
“We just opened our campus to provide comfort and safety in a warm, home environment for our students. Jerome’s Furniture came through for us in a big way to make this happen,” said Paige Chan, National Director of FirstStar Academies. ”We’re so grateful for their support in helping us ensure that foster youth have the academic, life skills and adult supports needed to successfully transition to higher education and adulthood.”
Included in the donation package were five sofas, four television consoles, three bookcases, one large television console, two family room table sets, four additional tables, 24 side chairs and two full-size buffets.
