After more than 20 years as the premier home furnishings destination, the decision has been made to close Stoma’s Furniture & Interiors store, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
“We have enjoyed a tremendous relationship with the people of Baton Rouge and surrounding communities for 20 years. We have now made the strategic decision to close our store and sell out the entire and complete stock in order to concentrate on other interests,” said Simon Eid, Owner.
The Lynch Sales Company has been hired to coordinate the Sale, which opens to the general public on Friday, January 6th, following a private Sale for Stoma’s mailing list customers. “We expect huge crowds due to the low prices we will be offering. Everything, including all floor samples, warehouse inventory, hand-knotted oriental rugs and accessories will be sold as quickly and efficiently as possible,” added Mr Eid.
Chris Lynch, owner of Lynch Sales Company, indicated that “we expect to sell the equivalent of one year’s annual turnover in 8 to 10 weeks." Stoma’s carries Century, Universal, Bernhardt, Hancock & Moore, Henredon, Lexington, Sherrill, Theodore Alexander, John Richard, Stanley, FFDM, Harden, Hooker and Bradington-Young in a 25,000 square foot showroom and a 15,000 square foot warehouse located 1.5 miles from the store.
