John Boshart & Sons Furniture began as The Milverton Furniture Company in Milverton Ontario in the 1930's. It then moved to Seaforth Ontario and became John Boshart & Sons. Avon Furniture has or had nothing to do with John Boshart & Sons. John Boshart furniture burnt down and was re-built by Johns sons Lewis and Enos. It finally closed around the year 1967.

We have a cedar chest made by the predecessor of Boshart--
It was made by AVON CHESTS LIMITED from SEAFORTH,ONTARIO
Apparently the Boshart company bought the AVON company around the turn of the century-
It measures 30"W x 13"D x13"H- Any interest??

I have a cherry dining room suite consisting of a table with fold-over top and three leaves (will seat 8 - 10), six chairs (one is an arm chair), buffet and corner cabinet with glass doors. Excellent condition. I would like to know their approximate value as I wish to sell them. John Boshart & Sons, Seaforth is attached to the bottom of one of the chair seats.

I have a 6 chair and table and hutch and tea trolley from John Boshart...I was wondering how much I should sell it for? was purchased in the 50's...mint condition.

I have six chairs, a table and hutch as well. Can anyone tell me if it is worth anything? It has the origional John Boschart label on the bottom.

I have a complete dinning room set (table, 6 chairs, Buffet) from John Boshart & Sons. Accorfing to the label they were in Seaforth Ontario.

I am also looking for information on John Boshart & sons as well on info in the dinning room set.

This has been handed down from my Grandmother and I "think" was purchased in the 50's or 60's
