Hello, I am looking for 5 drawer pulls and one nightstand pull. Drawer pulls are horizontally mounted 6" between screw holes and nightstand pull is vertically mounted 5 1/2" between holes. We were told that the set is around 30 yrs old. It is in excellent shape and deserves the original hardware. Thanks! Any suggestions will be appreciated. Spencer

The 7200 hardware was notorious for breaking. It was one of the few flaws in the old Sumter. Part of the problem was that the drawers with their solid oak overlays and carvings were very heavy. Beaver Metalworks in High Point, NC can re-post the hardware if you have the broken parts. They have a website. You can call and tell them your specific problem and they can tell you if they can help you.

I am also looking for the 7200 Marquesa 6" c to c pulls. We bought the Sumter furniture in the mid 70's and it is still in good condition. Anyone have any luck tracking down where we can buy the pulls

I am looking for 6 drawer pulls for my marquesa #7274 trp. dr. I purchased it about 36 yrs. ago and it is in really good shape except for the broken drawer pulls. I would really appreciate being able to replace them. They are about 6 in. wide. The recepticals that hold them on are still in good shape. If you no longer have them maybe you could put me in touch with the hardware co. who made them.

Bob, I am also looking for replacement bail type drawer pulls for my Sumter Cabinet, Marquesa, 7200 group bedroom furniture. We purchased the furniture in Sumter, SC in the early 70's and got replacement pulls from the Sumter Cabinet company over the years as ours broke. We had to pay for the recent ones that we got from them. We understand that Sumter Cabinet Company went out of business in 2006 and we have been unable to locate replacement pulls since then. The codes on our pulls are different from yours, so we may be after different designs. The codes on my pulls are: 10090S & 853. I will be sending you a photo of our pulls to see if they are the same as yours. Ours are 6 inch center-to-center. Would be interested if you had any luck in finding replacements. Thanks! Joe

Spencer, 10/16/09 I am also looking for Sumter pulls. Did you find anywhere to help? Ashley Furniture stores have/seen like looking pulls in a store but was not sure of width or exactness as had no pix at time. Have not been back & their Customer Service was no/wouldn't help when wrote to them.
I am Looking for replacement hardware for Mediterranean-look Sumter Bedroom Suite with antique brass look hardware (believe made from zinc die castings, commonly called pot metal).
Dresser drawer has 6” center-to-center drop pull handle (need two). Code on back is stamped 8PC 360 S and 876. It also has a tiny crest stamped with a B in center.
Matching Night Stand door has 6” center-to-center bail pull (need one). Code on back is stamped KS 14097 and 854.
My email is bschatham@yahoo.com if you have pixs. If I can find similiar 6 inch c-c replacements-I would have the old good ones for someone. Bob
