I am trying to replace a handle for a Thomasville chest I purchased in 2001. Amazingly, it broke in half during normal use. The model number is 37205-32. The Thomasville site links this to a line called "Claire." They also say Claire is living room furniture, but it's white French provincial bedroom furniture with antique brass and verdigris-colored handles. The back of the handle appears to have the number 1914 imprinted on it and the letter "B." The spacing is 4 1/4, which is extremely hard to find. Do I have any hope of finding this handle or at least something in the right size and style? I'm getting extremely frustrated, and I thank you in advance for any help.

Come to me for replacement hardware! I am a full time replacement furniture hardware spe-t at Hinges and Handles and I would be happy to help all of you. Most likely your existing hardware has been discontinued and exact replacements dont exist. Finding handles to fit your odd center to centers or similar in style can be difficult as you can see, since the standard is 3" and stores have more modern styles and finishes. We have all the rare sizes to fit your odd screw holes and so much more! Email me with your part numbers from the back of the hardware, center to center measurement, and/or pictures- whatever information you have, and we will go from there. We have much more than just hinges and handles, the possibilities are usually endless, so just email me with your search! hingesandhandles@gmail.com

I purchased a Mediterranean style bedroom set in 1970, manufactured by Stanley Furniture. The cabinet pulls appear to be bronze: a 4-1/4 inch back plate with a 3-1/4 inch teardrop pull. I have broken three of the pulls. On the back of the pull, in the first section is the number 2, on the main part of the pull is 7765. There are no initials or numbers on the backplate. I know I may not be able to get replacements, but everything I look at is smaller and won't fit the holes in the doors. Help!

Without reading the 100's of previous notes, has anyone found a place for replacements? I need a N-8394, 5"cc, for a cir '72 bedroom suite. I last time I needed to find a replacement was in the middle '90's and could not. Now I cannot even improvise with redrilled holes and a plate cover. They have even discontinued making a plate cover that would accomodate a 3" handle! There seems to be nothing left but to re-do all... Tell me that there is a 5-inch "distressed" bronze in any style left as a relacement!

GREETINGS
This letter may come to you as a surprise due to the fact that we have not yet met. I am contacting you to assist me, I have to say that I have no intentions of causing you any pains as you read this. I don't want you to feel sorry for me, because, I believe everyone will die someday. My name is Mrs. Maryam Forsythe, a merchantress here in London, presently taking medical treatment. now, I have been diagnosed with Endometrial cancer (Cancer of the Uterus) that was discovered very late due to my uncaring attitude for my health. It has defiled all form of medicine and right now, i have only about a few months to live according to medical experts. To be frank with you, I have not particularly lived my life so well, as I never really cared for anyone not even myself but my business and money. Though I am very rich, I was never generous, I was always hostile to people and only focus on my business as that was the only thing I cared for. But now I regret all this as I now know that there is more to life than just wanting to have or make all the money in the world. I believe when God gives me a second chance to come to this world I would live my life a different way from how I have lived it. Now that I know my time is almost up, I have willed and given most of my properties and assets to my immediate and extended family members and as well as a few close friends. I have decided to give alms to charity organizations,as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth.
So far, I have distributed money to some charity organizations here in UK,United Arab Emirates and Ireland. Now that my health has deteriorated so badly, I cannot do this my self any more. I once asked members of my family to close one of my accounts and donate the money which I have there to some charity organizations in Bulgaria, they refused and kept the money to themselves. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be content with what I have left for them.
The last of my money is the huge cash deposit ($5.5 Million) that I have with a security firm abroad . I will want you to help me collect this deposit and dispatched it to charity organizations and let them know that it is I, Maryam Forsythe that is making this generous donation. I am writing this from my laptop computer in my hospital bed where I wait for my time to come.
As soon as I received your sincere response, I will hence give you all the necessary details of how this can be done. I pray that you will support and assist me with good heart so that I can be able to achieve my goal. If you accept to help me do this, I promise you a reward of 40% of the ($5.5 Million).
Thank you for understanding.

After many years of thinking about it, I have decided to try to replace the pulls on my desk drawers. I've only had the backplates with loops with various keyrings through them to pull, so I have no idea what the full drawer pulls look like. The backplates are octagonal and about 1 inch in diameter. I suspect they're pot metal, though a brass equivalent would be lovely. I've discovered that they are from KBC and have the number F456 on the back (KBC is also on the back). I would need 10 for a full replacement. Is my best bet to call KBC in North Carolina, or does anyone know of another place that might have them? I have no idea how old the desk is; it was bought for me as a child and I believe was an antique even then. I live in Alaska, so calling NC when they're open is going to be a challenge! The other drawer pulls are smaller in the shape of a pointed rendition of an hourglass with a hanging pull suspended like arms from the smaller curve of the backplate. This also has a keyhole and number 3564. Can you help me? I am desperate from looking researching. Thank you for your time, effort, and assistance in this matter. Carol

I have an American Drew Mediterranean set purchased in '75 and need a drawer part. The pull with number BS or 8S then 7490 is intact but I need the half barrel like part that attaches this pull to the dresser. This half barrel part has 2 tubes (one of which is damaged) that attaches this pull via 2 screws. Space between 2 holes is about 1 inch.

I live in Australia and have a Thomasville set I bought some 20 years ago requiring new handles. The handle markings are Keeler Brass Company 200 N5165 (for the drawers) and and N12620 (for the two doors). I have found Keelers web site, but there is no provision for contacting them that I can see. Due to the difference in time zone, I cannot call them. Does anyone know of an alternative way of contacting them to get replacement handles.
I cannot buy different handles here in Australia as we use metric and the sizings are different.
Any help would be appreciated.

I need replacments; (9) nine handles and (10) ten pulls for Broyhill Mediterranean style dresser, chest, and night stand. It is oak, the pulls are antique brass and the set is approximately thirty five years old. The screws on the pulls need to be 4.5 inches apart. The knobs are single hole.
Thank you so much for your prompt help.

Hello. I just purchased an antique armoire that has drawer knobs on it - one is missing. They say on the back "Keeler Brass Co, Grand Rapids, MI" with a code "K-7145". I have no idea how old the set is, but the woman I bought it from had it since 1951. It measures 1 7/8" across with a 3/4" space between the 2 holes. If anyone knows where I could get a replacement, please let me know.
Thanks.

I sure wish I could give you some help but everything I have tried has been to no avail. One person contacted me and said to try "sherselects". Try searching her site. She has pulls and keyhole covers from Chautauqua brass and Keeler brass companies. I finally just gave up.

Joyce, have you had any luck finding replacement drawer pulls? (BS1 and BS2 80538Y) My wife and I have scoured the local area, (Charlotte, NC) with no luck. We purchased our suite in 1976 and have the same pulls. Seems no one makes pulls with the center to center spacing the same as those used on our Sumter furniture. Thanks! eagleheart@eagleheart.com

I have a Thomasville bedroom set and need to replace a broken dresser drawer pull. Thomasville advised it is of Keeler Brass manufacture and the number stamped behind the pull plate is: B-972.0, "CONT.B." 1987. You can call Keeler's number all day and get a busy signal.

Thank you for your note. I have called the Keeler Brass Co. several times and silly me it is always too late. They close at 12:00 noon. We are on the west coast so I do not seem to remember to call before 9:00 a.m. out here. They do give a fax number also: Keeler Brass Co., 1006 N. Main St. High Point, N.C. 27262 Phone # 336-841-4220 and fax number is 336-841-4330. You are smart enough to have all your numbers so you could fax them with your info and the numbers. The store where we bought our bedroom suite from closed several years ago so I had no contact. One of the pulls on the night stand is a two part piece BS 1ÊÊÊÊÊÊ80538 YÊÊÊandÊÊÊBS 2ÊÊÊ70022 that same pull is on the dresser and chest on some of the drawers.

The pulls were made in the Grand Rapids,MI. plant in the mid 70's. The are zinc die castings, more commonly called pot metal. Keeler Brass was a large die caster in the Grand Rapids area for many years and the Keeler family is still very active in Grand Rapids. I am trying to find them from some of the companies that handle obsolete hard ware. The numbers I have been able to find are :834 KS14097. If I find out any thing I will post it.

Thank you for your reply. No I have not had any success so far. I contacted the company that made the bedroom suite and they said they only made that set from 1974-77. They also did not think I would have any luck with Keeler Brass. I have tried calling them but they are only open until noon each day. I am on the west coat and I don't seem to remember to call until after they close. I am still hoping though.
The handles are made of "pot metal", not brass so I don't know if that will make a difference or not. According the phone message at Keeler they want a number off the back of the piece of hardware and said it will be preceded by "KB".
Againk thank you I am still hoping.
Joyce
