I have a complete set of Ethan Allen 1976 bi-centennial pine furniture. This full home of furniture is in excellent condition and has served us well. After only 35 years ( :) ) one of the springs (main side springs) in the easy chair has broken.
Does anyone know where parts such as this may be obtained?
This furniture (unlike my understanding of the new lines) is of SUPERIOR quality.
Thanks for leading me to a 'needle in a hay stack'.

I am looking for two Ethan Allen club chairs circa 1970-1980. I believe they were called Lawson Club chairs. They measure approximately 28" high plus cushion, 33" wide, and 35" deep. My mother has finally decided to part with her large grouping of Ethan Allen Georgian Court furniture in cherry finish. The grouping includes dining room table with two extensions, 1 side board or buffet table, 1 very large and wide china cabinet, 1 oval drop-leaf coffee table, 3 end tables( one oval and two rectangular, one with drop leaf)1 tall curio cabinet, 1 lo boy with oval mirror. I have three heavy maple end tables from Ethan Allen bought back in about 1968. One is a doughbox, one is hexogon shape & the other is a pedestal table. They have been used all this time & are still in great shape. I guess I am ready to part with them now. The finish is still as pretty as when I bought them.

I hope to locate an Ethan Allen cherry curio cabinet from the Georgian Court wall unit collection. The model No. is 119210. I am unsure of the finish and will have to check with Ethan Allen to ask how I can determine that from the numbers on the back. The dimensions are 78" high x 34" wide x 14" deep (taken at outside middle of cabinet). The top part of the unit has two center-opening glass doors with a lighted interior and three adjustable wood-frame tom part has two solid-panel center-opening doors with arch-topped panels; inside has one fixed, solid wood shelf. Condition should be very good/excellent. I already have four different units from the collection which were purchased in 1978, but hope to duplicate the curio cabinet. Dear Sarah, We don't buy or sell furniture... and, as noted many times on this site, it is difficult or impossible to find used or discontinued items. Retailers don't keep old stock around and don't look far and wide to find a buyer. They just mark it down and sell it off. My suggestion is to look for coordinating merchandise a local furniture stores. There is no rule that says that furniture must be displayed in matching sets. Eclectic groupings can be beautiful and functional if proplerly and creatively designed using accents and accessories. There are plenty of talented designers and sales associates in retail furniture stores who are willing to help customers create beautiful rooms. You may get lucky, and find your piece, so I am starting a new message string for consumers looking for discontinued Ethan Allen pieces. Good Luck. - Russell
