Bograd's Fine Furniture Helps Raise $10.000 To Support Children's Neurological & Cancer Research

Bograd's Fine Furniture hosted 250 guests for a fundraising event that benefited The Colleen Giblin Foundation on Thursday, May 7th at the Bograd's showroom in Riverdale, NJ. The event raised $10,000 for children's neurological and cancer research. The evening featured a variety of entertainment with food provided by Ome Caterers. Special guests included 4 former members of the New York Giants, Harry Carson, Bart Oates, Ottis Anderson and Jim Burt. Noritake, world renowned makers of fine China and tableware, presented an exclusive preview of some of their new patterns and officiated a fun "table setting competition" between local interior designers. Vocalist Wendy Lane Bailey was the featured entertainment for the evening and there was a silent auction with items from Noritake China, local artist Patricia Watson, Ome Caterers and autographed sports memorabilia. All proceeds from the event will help support the world renowned doctors and researchers working full-time on medical advances in neurological diseases at The Colleen Giblin Laboratories at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
