Better Homes and Gardens and Universal Furniture announced an integrated, multi-media promotion for the “Better Homes and Gardens by Universal Furniture” collection.

The offer is being promoted with an advertising campaign in the September issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, on the web sites of both companies at www.bhg.com and www.bhgfurniture.com as well as in newspapers and via direct mail to support local dealers. Through the new dining room promotion, consumers that purchase any dining room set as well as either a sideboard or china cabinet will receive two dining room armchairs free of charge.

“The Better Homes and Gardens collection is unique in its approach and calls for fresh thinking in our promotions as well,” said Kevin Miller, Brand Manager, Universal Furniture. “One of the strengths of the Better Homes and Gardens brand is the connection that the magazine has to their readers and, through that connection, we determined that complimentary arm chairs would be meaningful to the consumer.”

Each piece in the “Better Homes and Gardens by Universal Furniture” collection is designed by a team of Better Homes and Gardens editors. The result is timeless styling and enduring quality that customers can furnish a whole house with, and enjoy for a lifetime. With more than 200 pieces and 400 fabrics, the collection is backed by the quality, support, and service for which Universal Furniture is known.
