ISPA announced that the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) EXPO 2010, slated for March 3-6, 2010 in Charlotte, NC, will feature several special events throughout the week. This three-day event will open with the Welcome Reception featuring the mattress industry band, the Insomniaczzz, and conclude with the Industry Breakfast and award-winning speaker, Craig Karges.

At the conclusion of the opening day, attendees are welcome to relax, kick-back and network with friends and colleagues from all over the world during the “Carolinas…From the Mountains to the Coast” Welcome Reception. The reception, sponsored by Atlanta Attachment Company, will offer a wide-variety of Carolina-themed food and drinks, fun, and music. Back by popular demand, the Insomniaczzz will be on hand during the reception to rock the night away.

During the Industry Breakfast, attendees will be entertained by Craig Karges, a nationally recognized speaker and author known as the "extraordinist.” Karges has made more than four thousand appearances on four continents and in all fifty states.

He has appeared on the Tonight Show, Larry King Live, and specials for Cox Broadcasting. He has also appeared on Lifetime Television, CNBC, CNN Headline News, the Fox News Channel, and E! Entertainment Television.

Karges' performance is an extraordinary blend of mystery, humor, psychology and intuition. He dazzles the mind as he challenges his audiences to question what is real and what is unreal, what is possible and what is impossible.

In addition to this entertaining presentation, ISPA will take this opportunity to recognize its leaders within the industry and acknowledge those who have given outstanding service to the association through its awards program. During the program, ISPA will honor two leaders within the industry with the Russell L. Abolt Exceptional Service Award, and the Robert MacMorran Memorial Award. The Russell L. Abolt Exceptional Service Award, the highest honor bestowed on an individual member on behalf of the International Sleep Products Association, is a very coveted honor that recognizes industry leaders who have truly gone above and beyond their peers in advancing the interests of the mattress industry. Another prestigious honor, the Robert MacMorran Memorial Award, is given to individuals who have demonstrated meritorious service to the sleep products industry, without regard to their professional or business affiliation.
