Tradewins Furniture announced that the company has moved its High Point showroom to Furniture Plaza, 410, at 210 South Main Street, from the former location at Center Point.  According to Tom Underhill, Tradewins’ President, the new 9,000 square foot showroom has been completely renovated -- providing a fresh palette against which the company will highlight its best-selling collections and introduce several new offerings. “We’re presenting our sleekly simple Prairie Craftsman collection in High Point, and five new entertainment centers designed by Fred Spector. This is the first time we’ve used an outside designer and we’re thrilled with the versatility of the styles and the functionality of special features such as cleverly hidden jewelry storage and electronics accessibility.”

Underhill admitted that the past year has been challenging but added that as the company celebrates its 10th anniversary, he and Sales Manager, Mike Facchini, are optimistic about the signs of recovery they are experiencing. “We have been pleased to see that our “solid wood with good design and great value” niche has remained strong. We have picked up some very important majors over the last year and we have seen the number of Dealers we gained from the FMG buying group climb from two companies to about half of the group’s membership. Mike has worked very hard to mold the strongest sales team we’ve ever had.”

Tradewins’ product is manufactured in China. “We’ve had the same production team in China since the company was established. With over 500 SKUs, we’ve added more distribution centers – most recently, one in North Carolina and one in Los Angeles. We work hard to offer instant delivery to those Dealers whose customers demand it,” said Underhill.
