Aishni Home Furnishings Adds Production Capacity In Jaipur

Indian wood furniture manufacturer, Aishni Home Furnishings, announced that it has increased its production capacity by 125,000 square feet. The additional production will increase by 80 or more containers the present production capacity. “This will assure our largest customers continued flow of merchandise and quality levels that they expect from Aishni,” said Pravin Srivastava, CEO. "The company will also gain added kilns & fumigation facilities as well as state of the art machinery. We now can take the product from tree to finished product.” The company’s India facilities in Jaipur focus on wood products manufactured with high quality sheesham, acacia and mango woods. The Sheesham used in its natural products has a 70/30% dark to light coloration for eye appeal and durability. Factory supervisors each have a hand held meter for checking and measuring moisture content of products throughout the day making sure they match the settings of the drying kilns. “We are a very focused business model, we sell what we make,” says Mr. Srivastava. “We put our efforts into high value offerings from our facilities to meet the needs of our retail customers.” Aishni Home Furnishings is expanding its North American distribution efforts to national and independent retailers via its new factory and US warehouse in the LA suburb of El Monte, CA. A new Vegas showroom will be announced at the end of March for the summer market at the WMC. “We have a sales force of approximately 25 reps, most of whom have prior experience with product from India, a distinct advantage in aiding buyers in merchandising knowledge of India furnishings sales display marketing. The Aishni sales team will also be a vital link in the sales floor training of our retail partner’s sales reps,” Srivastava added.
