Enthusiastic responses are pouring in for the 2005 “AWFS®Vegas” show. According to Angelo Gangone, AWFS®Fair Director, “Although we anticipated a positive response regarding the move of AWFS®Fair from Anaheim to Las Vegas, we were overwhelmed at the excitement the change in venue has generated from both exhibitors and attendees. In fact, as we conclude the Priority Space Selection process for the 2005 “AWFS®Vegas” show, we are happy to report that over 80 percent of our projected floor space has already been reserved and at this rate foresee selling 100 percent of the current floor plan in record time.” In addition, to an increase in new exhibitors, many 2003 exhibitors have increased their booth size. Dave Flynn of Frazee Industries in Anaheim commented, “It was a simple decision for Frazee Industries. The move to Las Vegas gives us a chance to attract customers from an even broader section of our current service area. Presently, Frazee has 20 locations in Arizona and Nevada. We went to a larger booth with anticipation of increasing our record sales from 2003. We could not be more excited and are very much looking forward to an even more successful show in 2005.” Frazee supplies and services wood coating systems. Similarly, Greg Godbout of Laguna Tools said, “We increased our booth space due to the increase in the marketplace and our dramatically expanding product line. At Laguna Tools, we are excited to have the show move to the venue in Las Vegas. We feel that it will help move the AWFS® show from being perceived as a regional West Coast show to a national show.” Gangone noted that the deadline has passed for Priority Space selection of past exhibitors. “We’re sending out an exhibitor prospectus on “AWFS®Vegas” and opening up space selection to anyone on a first-come, first-serve basis, regardless of past participation or membership in AWFS®.” Updated floor plans are available on the website, www.awfsfair.org.
