Juvenile Products Show Attendance Up 16%

More than 3,000 buyers from around the world came to see everything that is new for baby during the 28th Annual International Juvenile Products Show held in September. "The pre-show promotion for this year's show, both domestically and internationally, played a large part in the 16% increase in buyer numbers," said Kathleen M. Baier, public relations director of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), sponsors of the show. "Our show has become the one show that everyone involved in the juvenile products industry must attend." In addition to the large buyer increase, this year's show sold out of exhibitor show space earlier than it ever has. Plans are now underway to add 50,000 additional square feet of space for next year's show. The 29th Annual International Juvenile Products Show will again be held at the International Apparel Mart, Dallas, TX from Oct. 25- 28, 1998.
