Susan Dountas Joins Bush Industries, Inc. As VP Marketing

Bush Industries CEO James L. Sherbert announced the hiring of Susan Dountas as Vice President Brand Marketing. “We feel Susan is the most uniquely qualified person in the industry for this new role in our company,” states Sherbert. “She combines an insightful marketing perspective with a deep understanding of our industry from both the producer and retail sides. Her input will be critical to defining the Bush brand and its value to our company and our retail partners. Our entire organization could not be more excited about attracting someone with Susan’s experience and talent.” Prior to Bush Industries, Ms. Dountas held a series of sales and marketing positions at Sauder Woodworking Company, the last of which was Vice President Marketing and Merchandising. In that position, she led Sauder’s Design and Marketing departments in defining brand strategy and product positioning. Susan moved to Sauder Woodworking from a highly successful career at Sears, Roebuck & Company where she was National Buyer for all furniture sold through Sears Catalogue USA.
