Jeff Stone Joins Legacy Classic Furniture As VP Merchandising

Legacy Classic Furniture announced that Jeff Stone has joined the company as Vice President of Merchandising. Mr. Stone will have product development and merchandising responsibility for the fast-growing Legacy Kids division as well as Legacy’s Casual Dining program. Scott Smith continues in his role as General Manager and Vice President of Merchandising, focusing on dining room, bedroom and collections. Commenting on the announcement, Lee Boone, President of Legacy Classic, said “Jeff is a seasoned and proven furniture executive as well as a great team player and we are delighted to have him join our team.” Boone continued, “Legacy has always run a lean operation but our continued growth and future growth plans require the addition of new management that can create the product and merchandising vehicles to take us to the next level.” Mr. Stone previously held executive merchandising positions with Schnadig, Broyhill, Inmark and Lexington Furniture. Prior to his manufacturing career, Stone spent several years in furniture retail with Bon Marche.
