ADL To Honor Ron Wanek and Joe Laneve

On Thursday, June 7th, the Anti-Defamation League, at their 2007 National Home Furnishings Division Tribute, will present American Heritage Awards to two of its most outstanding and accomplished leaders. Ron Wanek, Chairman of the Board of Ashley Furniture Industries and Joe Laneve, General Merchandising Manager of Home for Bloomingdale’s, will be the honored recipients. In addition, this ADL Industry Division announced that Neil Goldberg, President & CEO of Raymour & Flanagin has assumed the post of Chairman. His cabinet will consist of two Vice Chairs, Kurt Darrow of La-Z-Boy and Gary Fazio of The Mattress Firm; Norman Waxman who will assume the post of Honorary Chair, a Chairmen Circle of some the most respected retailers in the industry – Fred Berk, Irv Blumkin, Jeff Child, Leslie Fishbein, Jayson Friedman, Bill Kimbrell, Jeff Seaman and Josh Tatelman; and an Executive Board boasting eighteen members. All individuals share common threads of interests – the furniture industry and the Anti-Defamation League human rights mission.
