Excelsior Designs Expands High Point Showroom

Excelsior Designs, well-known for striking, artistic contemporary furniture designs, is adding 2,800 square feet to their existing showroom at D1110 in the Design Center of the International Home Furnishings Center building. This brings the Excelsior Designs showroom space to approximately 13,000 square feet. Construction and renovation plans are currently underway. The expanded space will display new introductions from the popular Nicole Miller Collection furniture in time for the Spring Furniture Market beginning March 26, 2007. Steven Kayne, president of Excelsior Designs stated, “We are excited about the addition of our new showroom space. We’ve expanded our presence here four times within the last five years, and we look forward to continuing that growth trend.” In a time when Asian imports have saturated the home furnishings market, Kayne says he is proud they have not strayed from the quality Italian craftsmanship their company was built upon. “That in itself,” Kayne adds, “is an anomaly in our industry today—and the fact that we need more space to showcase the beauty and quality of these Italian designs is simply testament to our heritage.” Tom Loney, Executive Vice President – Leasing for the IHFC also noted, “The IHFC is thrilled to partner with industry leaders like Excelsior Designs. With changes recently made to the dates of the Spring and Fall Furniture Markets, the invitation-only celebration will be held Tuesday, March 27. The new dates for the upcoming High Point Market are Monday, March 26 through Sunday, April 1, 2007.
