Furniture World News on

Lane Home Furnishings announced they will introduce an accent collection inspired by Christy Clark at the March 2007 High Point Market. Christy Clark is well-known for her photograph of the wild horses on the Outer Banks of Corolla in Currituck County, NC. In addition, her diverse collection includes nature themes, floral, water and snow scenes, and studies in black and white. Transitional in style, the collection offers design versatility. Consumers have the capability to change out panel insets in the furniture to unique images such as landscapes and even equine scenes. The collection has been uniquely designed by Clark especially for the Lane accent collection. The dark mahogany finish of the Christy Clark collection makes this collection perfect for any room in the home. The Christy Clark Accent Collection will be available at retail through Lane Dealers nationwide beginning in October 2007. Born and reared in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Clark studied marketing and management at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and studied international business and marketing in England. She currently resides in Lexington, North Carolina. Clark’s company, Christy Clark Inc., was founded in 2001 when she began selling copies of her photographs. The popularity of her photographic images led Clark to incorporate her company in April 2002, when she expanded to include a line of designed furniture, canvas rugs, leather gifts, tile, and other accessories.
