Generation Brands North America's largest decorative lighting company, announced the appointment of Jeffrey Tartamella as President of the Sea Gull Lighting Products business unit, overseeing the Sea Gull Lighting and Monte Carlo Fan Company brands. Most recently, Jeff was President of Home Decor Innovations - a $160 Million business owned by a private equity firm until it was sold to a strategic acquirer in late 2007. Prior to that role, Jeff spent 6 years at Stanley Works in increasingly senior roles in Product Management, Marketing, and Sales, culminating as President - Home Decor Division. Previous to Stanley, Jeff spent 13 years in increasingly responsible roles at Black & Decker Corp. Jeff started his career at Eaton Corp. "Jeff's deep experience in the building products and home decor industries, his core competencies in product development and marketing, combined with his outstanding leadership and business improvement skills make him ideally suited to lead our Sea Gull Lighting business unit", said Tracy Bilbrough, President & CEO of Generation Brands. Jeff holds a B.A. in Marketing from Kent State University and an MBA from Western Kentucky University. He and his family will be joining the Sea Gull & Monte Carlo companies from the Charlotte, NC area.
