Sleep America Charities To Hold September Golf Tournament

Sleep America Charities Co-Founder Debbie Gaby announced that the Fifth Bi-Annual Golf Tournament, will be held at The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort on Tuesday, September 16th, 2008. Teeing off at 7:30 a.m., avid golfers should expect to register soon for this sell-out tournament benefiting Florence Crittenton, Sojourner Center and AZ Youth Development. The event will feature guest speaker Jay Parry, President and COO of the Phoenix Mercury, Emcee Al McCoy, Voice of The Phoenix Suns with an appearance from Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano. The days activities will include a raffle, silent auction, lunch, with various activities on and off the course including closest to the pin, longest drive, sampling, and meeting charities face to face. Gaby said, “This golf tournament sells out every year. It is a true testament to our goal in putting FUN in fundraising!” Sleep America Charities is dedicated to improving the quality of life for others by providing assistance, support and other resources to deserving Valley charities and organizations in need. Past Sleep America Charities beneficiaries include Make-A-Wish Foundation, Save the Family, Arizona Stars/AZ Youth Development, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Sojourner Center and Florence Crittenton.
