Home Design Expert Eddie Ross Launches Maximalist Studios

Furniture World News Desk on 3/31/2019

Home design expert, Eddie Ross, recently announced the opening of Maximalist Studios, a full-service production studio, offering content creation and photography to home decor and consumer goods companies. After more than a decade creating multi-channel content for House Beautiful, Martha Stewart Living, Food Network and Better Homes & Gardens, Ross draws on his experience as a producing editor to lead a team of creatives, delivering stunning on-brand imagery for print, digital and social platforms. Services range from concept to completion, including product curation, set design, location scouting, prop styling, art direction, photography and video production.

“Maximalist Studios is a one-stop-shop for magazine-quality imagery,” said Co- Founder and Chief Content Creator, Eddie Ross. “When brands want fresh, compelling content with an editorial sensibility that gives them an edge up over their competition, they come to us. Our imagery celebrates their style and sells their products.”

Conveniently located near King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, just 90 minutes from New York, Maximalist Studios spans 9,000 square feet with five light-filled studios and a prop house of high-end home decor. In the Gallery studios, white brick walls, soaring ceilings and large windows create a sunlit canvas for house sets and photography. In the Salon studio, an open floor plan and luxury furnishings evoke the vibe of a posh city loft, while a fully equipped Chef’s Kitchen with a 15-foot Carrera marble island sets a luminous stage for culinary productions. An on-site prop house supports content creation with a curated assortment of home furnishings, tableware and accents.

A suite of services helmed by a veteran magazine editor, stylist and art director sets Maximalist Studios apart from even the most established content production studios. Whether a client requests creative ideation on how to photograph new introductions or simply engages the Studio to execute on concepts that are fully developed, Ross and his team plan and produce every project with a distinctly editorial point of view. Plus, as added value, Ross often posts client work to his personal Instagram feed with 65,000 followers.

“Content drives commerce,” said Jaithan Kochar, Co-Founder and CEO. “We don’t just photograph products. We tell stories — visual narratives that surprise viewers, stopping them in a store, the street or on their phones and converting them to customers.”

In addition to creative content production, Maximalist Studios offers an alluring venue for events. From cocktail parties in the Salon to weddings in the Gallery to wine dinners in the Chef’s Kitchen, clients can rent the Studio for parties of their own design or engage Ross and his team to do it for them. And coming this spring, in a series of classes called Style School, Ross will soon start dishing out his insider tips to styling any space.

Maximalist Studios is located at 501 W. Washington St., Suite 3 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. For more information, visit maximaliststudios.com. Follow Maximalist Studios on Instagram @maximaliststudios.
