Elements International announced its recent purchase of the privately-owned domestic manufacturer of upholstered furniture, Style-Line Furniture.
The newly acquired Style-Line Furniture was established in 1969 by the Anderson family in Verona, Mississippi, and specializes in manufacturing custom stationary living room furniture and occasional chairs. They now operate out of a 350,000 square foot facility in Mississippi, providing stationary upholstery to several top 100 retailers.
The Style-Line office and warehouse operations will continue as normal, offering style driven product supported by premium quality and customer service. Operations will remain under the leadership of Mark Anderson, current Vice President of Style-Line Furniture. Mark Anderson commented, “We are looking forward to partnering with Elements and complimenting their exceptional existing line-up. Style-line is excited to work with their first-rate management team and is committed to supporting long term growth and continued success.”
This acquisition provides Elements the ability to offer more diverse sourcing options, a larger upholstery assortment, price point variation, and shorter lead times. Mike Wurster, Elements President, commented, “Elements has been shopping for a domestic upholstery manufacturer for years, and we’re thrilled to have reached an agreement with Style-Line. Their reputation in the industry, leadership and ability to fill a gap in Elements’ sourcing strategy made it a very enticing opportunity.”
Elements’ Las Vegas showroom, WMC C-1489, is currently being redesigned to incorporate Style-Line product and offer customers a domestic upholstery solution for the first time ever at the summer market. Both the Elements and Style-Line High Point showrooms will be open at the upcoming fall market. In addition, a celebration will be hosted by the joint Elements and Style-Line teams to celebrate and recognize Style-Line’s accomplishments and success over the past five decades.
These two companies expect a seamless transaction and look forward to continuing great relationships with partners, teammates, vendors and customers.
