Hooker Furniture Announces ‘#LiveInColor’ Social Media Contest at HPMKT

Hooker Furniture and its sister companies MARQ, Bradington-Young and Sam Moore announced that they will launch a social media contest during the Fall High Point Market. The initiative will highlight the company’s commitment to creating leading designs for its retailers, consumers and interior design partners. The contest will run Oct. 18-25 on its brands’ Facebook platforms.
During Market week, consumers, retailers and designers will have the chance to win a Hooker Furniture Esperanza Two-Door Chest, a MARQ Willow 28-inch Round Ottoman, a Bradington-Young Well-Rounded Tufted Ottoman or a Sam Moore Justine Swivel Chair by participating in the giveaway. Social media followers can enter by commenting on the designated contest post and voting on which product they would most like to win.
“This market we really wanted to highlight our brands’ diverse assortment of color, brought to life by our broad assortment of finishes and textiles,” said Johne Albanese, vice president of corporate marketing for Hooker Furniture. “Experimenting with bold hues and patterns is a great way to personalize a space and in particular, our Sam Moore, MARQ and Bradington-Young brands have great customization options that make it easy for anyone to bring color into their home.”
A comment equals one entry, but additional entries can be gained by tagging a friend in the comment section, sharing the post and using the hashtag #LiveInColor. Users must be following the Hooker Furniture Sam Moore or Bradington-Young Facebook pages to be eligible to win.
“Through our social media contest at the Fall High Point Market we want to bring awareness to the new, bold designs Hooker Furniture, Sam Moore and Bradington-Young will debut this season,” said Albanese. “We also wanted to give consumers the chance to participate in the excitement of Market by offering our giveaway to all of our social media followers.”
On October 28, one grand prize winner will be chosen at random and contacted on Facebook to claim their prize. The winner will then be connected with a Hooker Furniture representative to claim their prize.
