Tennessee-Based MLILY USA Will Donate 200 Mattresses & 200 Pillows to Tornado Victims

Mattress manufacturer MLILY USA, whose operations are based in Tennessee, recently committed to donating 200 mattresses and 200 pillows to help with tornado relief efforts in the state. The Nashville area  was pummeled by multiple, deadly tornadoes that killed more than two dozen people.

The company is partnering with Hands On Nashville (HON) to facilitate distribution of the new mattresses and pillows to those in need. Founded in 1991, HON is one of the largest mobilizers of volunteers among all HandsOn Network affiliates worldwide and facilitates more than 300 service opportunities each month for nonprofits, schools, government agencies, faith-based organizations, civic groups and businesses each year.

“This was a devastating storm system, and our hearts go out to our fellow Tennesseans affected by the damage,” said Stephen Chen, president of MLILY USA. “While there is a lot of work to do to clean up the aftermath and begin to rebuild, we wanted to give people impacted some peace of mind that we’re ready and willing to help provide a comfortable sleep environment in which they can begin to heal.”
