Jackson Carpenter to Lead Manwah’s MW Home

Manwah recently announced that Jackson Carpenter has been promoted to President of Manwah’s MW Home division and Gabriele Natale has been hired to lead Cheers as its President. Both Carpenter and Natale will report to Guy Ray,  CEO Manwah USA.

"The overwhelming success of our recently launched MW Home division, which is manufactured in China, and the completed transition of Cheers to our new facility in Vietnam, makes it necessary to create two  separate divisions. Each division will now be able to focus on their distinctly different product directions  and better support our customers’ needs and opportunities” said Ray.  As we emerge from the coronavirus, the landscape is different and we intend to increase our focus on our customers individual needs and  strengthen our abilities to react quicker and more effectively to exceed their expectations.

Gabriele Natale comes to Cheers from Lifestyle Enterprise where he had been President for the Past 13 years. Before Lifestyle, Natale spent a year as EVP of Merchandising at Home Line industries and before that, he was  President of Natale Furniture which at the time was the 4th largest leather upholstery manufacturer in Italy.

Jackson Carpenter has held the title of Senior V.P of Merchandising for Manwah for the past year where he was instrumental in creating and developing the highly successful  product direction of MW Home. Before Manwah, Jackson had been President of Trayton/Simon Li for over 11 years and has held senior executive positions with other U.S., Italian and Chinese companies.

Cheers products are built in a new 4 million square foot factory in Vietnam which today has a production capability of over 3,000 containers per month, that is expected to grow to over 4000 containers per month in 2021. The Vietnam factory employees over 6,000 workers and is a totally vertical factory producing tariff free products exclusively for the U.S. and North American markets.

Natale stated that “today is the perfect time to be coming on board and joining the Cheers team. After a lifetime in this industry I understand the needs of our customers as well as the demands that are required  to be successful and lead in today's environment. Not many factories are in a position today to support retail requirements with outstanding products at incredible values. MW Home was launched last October with a lot of excitement and immediate acceptance from our retail partners. It was created to be uniquely positioned as a separate division of Manwah with a focus on increased values at the higher end of the market. MW Home has its own dedicated vertical factory in China with a capacity today of 600 containers per month that is expected to increase to over 1000 containers per month by mid-2021.  MW Home is selling products protected under the “ Buyer Simplicity Program”, guaranteeing one price with, No tariff Costs, No transportation Costs, and including Extended payment terms.
