ICFA Calls for Nominations for Lifetime Achievement Award

The International Casual Furnishings Association is seeking nominations for its 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award. Outstanding individuals in the outdoor furnishings industry have been recognized for their contributions and achievements since the tribute was created in 2002.
Manufacturers/importers, retailers, designers, sales representatives and suppliers in the outdoor furnishings industry are eligible for the award. Nominees will be reviewed with attention to the award criteria:
- A present or former member of the casual furniture industry who by past actions or accomplishments has served as a role model or inspiration for others in the industry.
- An innovative leader with ideas that advance the growth of the casual furniture industry.
- An individual who has continually given of themselves to others in the industry.
- An individual whose accomplishments have been acknowledged by their peers in the casual furniture industry and their achievements have stood the test of time.
Jackie Hirschhaut, ICFA executive director, stated, “After enduring the challenges of the pandemic over the past year, the ICFA Awards Committee is keenly dedicated to putting forth extra effort to learn about the men and women who played an important role in the development and growth of the outdoor furnishings category over the past 50 years.”

This year’s award recipient will be honored at the ICFA Awards Gala on Wednesday, September 22, at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park. In addition, Gary McCray, the 2020 honoree will be honored.
The International Casual Furnishings Association, based in High Point, N.C., represents manufacturers, retailers, sales representatives and designers of outdoor furnishings plus suppliers to the industry.
