Mainly Baskets Home, the go-to source for sustainable, hand-woven pieces for the home, partnered with Nashville-based interior designer, Sarah Bartholomew, last year to launch a collection of items for the home. Now, due to the overwhelming success, the company and designer are introducing a second collection – The Garden Collection by Sarah Bartholomew for Mainly Baskets Home. Launching June 2021, the Garden Collection by Sarah Bartholomew for Mainly Baskets Home will offer classic woven pieces, from console tables and chairs to headboards and bar carts.
Launching this summer, the Garden Collection by Sarah Bartholomew for Mainly Baskets Home will include sixteen pieces of furniture and home accessories inspired by the trellis found in European gardens of the past. Each piece in the collection is a seamless blend of Sarah Bartholomew’s elegant design style and Mainly Baskets Home’s beloved take on natural, hand-woven furniture. The Garden Collection by Sarah Bartholomew for Mainly Baskets Home will include a Louis XVI inspired chair and stool, headboard, console, game table, bedside table, bar cart, decorative stools and more all featuring a beautiful lattice trellis inspired design.
“After the excitement surrounding our first collection with Sarah Bartholomew, we knew we wanted to continue to bring our shared love of wicker furniture to life” says Robyn Bailey, Owner of Mainly Baskets Home. “Mainly Baskets Home’s mission is to bring warmth and texture into people’s world, and ultimately, their home, that will last for decades to come. The Garden Collection by Sarah Bartholomew for Mainly Baskets Home does just that.”
Mainly Baskets Home was founded in 1977 by interior designer and antique dealer Thomas Hayes to serve as a way to design and import hand-made, unique baskets for the design community in Atlanta. In 2006, the company was acquired by Charles and Robyn Bailey. Now led by Robyn and an all-female team, Mainly Baskets Home has expanded from only baskets to include an array of hand-woven pieces for the home that are composed of sustainably-harvested raw materials. The pieces, which include furniture, baskets, lighting, and more, integrate a mixed media of textures and materials, such as rattan, wood, metal, iron, bang Kwang, and more, and are able to be fully-customized through sizes, colors, and fabrics to meet any client’s needs.
Established in 2010, Sarah Bartholomew is a Nashville-based interior designer that has completed projects across the United States, from New York and California to Alabama and Tennessee. Sarah has been nationally recognized for her signature, fresh take on classic sensibility. As an extension of her design firm, Sarah also has a brick-and-mortar store in Nashville, S.B., that offers an array of furnishing for the home, including accessories, antiques, art, upholstery, and textiles.
