CITY Furniture Partners with OnePULSE Foundation to Celebrate Pride Month

Furniture World News Desk on 6/14/2021

CITY Furniture, a Florida-Based Furniture Company recently announced that it is partnering with OnePULSE Foundation as part of their 5% Giving Pledge to celebrate the Five-Year Pulse Remembrance Week this year. CITY Furniture is matching up to $25,000 in donations to the onePULSE Foundation’s OUTLOVE HATE campaign. As a matching donor and Corporate Ally, CITY Furniture is challenging their employees to support onePULSE’s OUTLOVE Hate campaign to preserve the memory of the 49 Angels taken in the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Andrew Koenig, President of CITY Furniture states, "Supporting the onePULSE Foundation’s mission through CITY’s 5% Giving Pledge is a deeply meaningful way to honor all the lives affected by the Pulse nightclub tragedy while contributing to positive change".

"We’re proud to sponsor the Love Notes at the Rainbow Run again this year. So often, healing and powerful words are exchanged while gathered around the living room sofa or dining table. We couldn’t think of a more fitting way to encourage runners, along with our guests, customers, and community to share their words of support, than to invite them to take a seat at our table to fill out a Love Note."

About The onePULSE Foundation: The onePULSE Foundation is a 501(c) 3 incorporated by the owner of Pulse nightclub. The Foundation was established to create a sanctuary of hope following the tragic day in American history–Sunday, June 12, 2016–to honor the 49 Angels that were taken, the 68 others who were injured and the countless first responders and healthcare professionals who treated them.

This fund is intended to support a memorial that opens hearts, a museum that opens minds, educational programs that open eyes and legacy scholarships that open doors. Contributions from generous individuals, foundations, corporations and government entities directly support all of the National Pulse Memorial & Museum design, construction, land acquisition costs, operations, community education programs, and 49 Legacy Scholarships. This is a defining mission and healing initiative that we hope inspires supporters who share our vision and understand the solemn and sacred responsibility to which this community has been entrusted.
