Four Designer Tours Set for IMC’s High Point Market

International Market Centers (IMC) revives its celebrated market tours with four tours by five design tastemakers presented as part of its DesignOn HPMKT by IMC programming set for the October 16-20, 2021 High Point Market.
“We’re excited for the return of our market tours with a new group of designers and trend experts with diverse styles and visions to showcase the best at High Point Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC executive vice president, chief customer and marketing officer. “The DesignOn HPMKT by IMC programing is the voice of our part of the Market, and through this talented group, we are showcasing how designers with different styles and aesthetic preferences can find the products, brands and trends that match their unique points of view through the IMC resources at High Point.”

With an impeccable style and flair, Andre’ Jordan Hiltonis known for his tailored, curated style. He was recently recognized as one of the TOP 20 African American Interior Designers in the country and worked as the design consultant for HGTV’s hit series “Flipping Virgins,” helping the show transform numerous homes into show-stopping investments.

Gary Inman, president & principal designer of Gary Inman Home Couture, and Founder & CEO of Grace Purchasing with designer Zachary Hodgin, of Gary Inman Home Couture.
Gary Inman’s work includes the design of homes, luxury hotels, resorts, spas and country clubs, and the restoration of several properties protected by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. With significant experience in the study of the traditions and history of design, he has served as an adjunct professor, professional mentor and guest lecturer at Savannah College of Art and Design, is on the Advisory Board of the Interior Design Department of High Point University and is on the boards of the Bienenstock Furniture Library and the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD). He has contributed to several books about design and is currently working on his first solo book, The Art of The Mix. His work has been recognized with 18 ASID-IIDA awards and has appeared in Verandah, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, The Washington Post, Boutique Design and Hospitality Design.
Zachary Hodgin is the director of the Birmingham Studio for Gary Inman Home Couture. In addition to his design work, he creates large-scale hand renderings of iconic buildings. In the fall of 2021, his work will be the subject of “The Eye and The Hand,” an exhibit at the Bienenstock Furniture Library.

TrendWatch Tour is Back
IMC’s celebrated TrendWatch tour returns with an exploration of the Fall 2021 themes – AWAY, MALLEABLE and VERVE – with trend forecaster, editor and curator Julie Smith Vincenti of Nine Muses Media. The tour will visit the three TrendWatch displays within IMC’s properties: Suites at Market Square Lobby, the walkway between IHFC and Showplace near the Transportation Terminal and the IHFC Green Lobby to give attendees an inside look at leading trends shaping the home furnishings industry. Monday, October 18, 1:00pm-2:30pm EDT meeting at the Suites at Market Square Trendwatch Display (Ground Floor).
