InterHall, the gateway to International Market Centers’ (IMC) design-driven resources in the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC), will be bustling and filled to capacity with 70+ up-and-coming furniture and home décor exhibitors – including eight new and expanded brands – for the October 16-20, 2021 edition.
“High Point Market is the nexus of trends in the home furnishings industry with InterHall as its epicenter,” said Scott Eckman, IMC executive vice president, chief revenue officer. “This October, buyers are ready to return for the unmatched discovery of this key destination and brands are ready to get back to market to showcase what is new and next.”
The curated assortment on the first floor of IHFC features 70+ exhibitors including one new showroom, one relocated showroom and six temporary exhibitors that are new to High Point Market or returning after a hiatus. Showroom updates are Hubbardton Forge (lighting and accent furniture) taking its first permanent space at High Point Market to launch its collection of accent and console tables and Nuevo(contemporary furniture) relocating to the lobby level of IHFC from InterHall. In InterHall’s 52 temporary exhibits, new brands include HOUE (indoor and outdoor furniture from Denmark), Jensen Outdoor (luxury outdoor wood furniture), Natures Collection (contemporary Danish home décor and lifestyle), Rivers Spencer Home (elegant case goods with a fresh tailored look) and Studio M Lighting (launching a new lighting collection with Houston, TX interior designer Nina Magon), plus the return of Tempaper (self-adhesive, repositionable, removable wallpaper).
Additionally, established InterHall exhibitors are using the Fall Market to showcase new partnerships. Notable among these are Ann Gish (textiles) launching its collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art – The Met x Ann Gish – that showcases pieces from the vast art collection as home textiles; etúHOME(handmade and sustainable accent furniture, accessories and tabletop) presenting its COCOCOZY x etúHOME collection of kitchen accessories in collaboration with influencer Colette Shelton; and Regina Andrew (lighting, accent furniture and accessories) introducing the Southern Living Lighting Collection inspired by the 50+ year legacy of the publication.
Buyers have identified InterHall as a key destination for their October sourcing. Kevin Irving, merchandising manager for Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses with 20 locations in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island said “InterHall is a ‘must shop’ to stay on the cutting edge. The design trends you see are unmatched elsewhere during High Point Market.”
