Pure Salt Interiors and Momeni Announce First Rug Collaboration

Pure Salt Interiors, the Newport Beach-based interior design studio and Shoppe known for its clean, coastal, and naturally-inspired designs, is proud to announce its first rug line with Momeni, a heritage family-owned manufacturing business known for its innovative, high-quality, impeccably designed rugs. The Pure Salt for Momeni Rug Line will launch at High Point Market, the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world, in October 2022 with 17 exclusive rugs in sizes ranging from 2’x8’ to 10’x14’. Prices range from $368 to $8698.

The Pure Salt for Momeni Line was developed over two years with Pure Salt founders Aly Morford & Leigh Lincoln alongside the design team at Momeni. The line leans heavily on natural fibers and neutral colors with a focus on innovative new techniques in natural fiber jute and hand-knotted rugs. The line will be available to the trade at Momeni Showrooms and select dealers across the country. Consumers can view and purchase the assortment online at Pure Salt Shoppe and at the Pure Salt Flagship Store in Newport Beach, CA.

About The Designs

Torquay: Made by bringing together two of Pure Salt’s core design principles - style and function - with one of our favorite materials - jute. This natural fiber rug is a mix of jute and wool to create a one-of-a-kind quality rug that not only looks great but feels incredible underfoot. And their unique make ensures that they will only get better over time for a look you’ll love for years to come

Koukila: Inspired by one of Pure Salt’s favorite vintage finds, well-loved Kilim, Aly and Leigh designed these rugs with qualities and patterns that bring a fresh, authentic approach to a classic look. These hemp rugs are woven to be more substantial and durable than true vintage kilim, with unique stitching for an aged look that feels steeped in history. 

Cassis: The perfect, plush rug in three of Pure Salt’s signature natural colorways—bleach, natural, and walnut. The simple, subtle beauty of this classic braided style is the perfect base to layering with the Menorca collection.

Menorca: Inspired by One-of-a-kind hand-knotted designs, these rugs are intricate and beautiful following the time-honored tradition of handmade craftsmanship that becomes even more desirable as they age.
