Hooker Furnishings has curated its Winter 2023 Las Vegas Market product assortment with new case goods and upholstery styles that bring a fresh point of view and a decidedly west coast design aesthetic to the showroom. Aimed at building relationships with retailers and interior designers in the western region of the U.S., the new assortment will be supported by a variety of marketing and social events.

For its third showing at the Vegas Market, Hooker Furniture, Sam Moore and Bradington-Young will highlight several new styles that align with interior design themes prevalent in west coast regions. The company’s Accentrics Home brand -- a division within the HMI Group of Hooker Furnishings -- will also return to Vegas, following its initial debut in July.

Headlining the updated assortment is Big Sky, a whole home collection inspired by the natural beauty of the American wilderness. Taking design cues from higher-end residential construction trends that use heavy organic materials, Big Sky is rustic with modern lines and a crisp sophisticated feel.

“Pieces in the collection can live just as easily in upscale urban environments as they can in Aspen, Jackson Hole, Sonoma, or Tahoe,” said Jenni Jungers, executive vice president of merchandising for Hooker Furniture. “Presented in two very distinct style personalities – one for the more traditionalist consumer and one that evokes a more modern vibe – the collection will be very relevant for our west coast retailers and interior design partners.”

On the upholstery front, Bradington-Young’s merchandising efforts will focus on providing its partners with motion furniture that includes the functionality of larger scale motion pieces, but with a more refined footprint for smaller spaces.

Highlights include the Johnston Motion Seating Group and the Celestial Defy Gravity Recliner. The small-scale pieces are packed with functionality and also provide an easier delivery experience for retailers, designers and ultimately, the end consumer.

Sam Moore’s upholstery offerings include ‘Soft Modern’ looks with softened and rounded – yet visible and bold – lines and silhouettes featuring subtle sophisticated designs. Highlights include two new swivel chairs, including the statement-making ChiChi swivel covered in a playful faux fur cover and an unexpected back design that sets it apart from other swivel chairs in the line. Several stationary upholstery silhouettes will also be featured, including a mix of transitional and classic chairs and sofas that bring energy to the showroom through the intentional use of color, texture, pattern and mixed materials.

“In addition to our legacy brands, our Accentrics Home brand returns for its second Las Vegas Market after a highly successful debut in the summer of 2022,” said Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer for Hooker Furnishings. “Offering a whole-home line of products designed around the idea of ‘trending eclecticism,’ pieces are individual and unique rather than grouped into traditional collections. This strategy allows buyers to mix and match pieces across the collection as well as with each of our other brands merchandised in the showroom.”

New Accentrics Home pieces being added to the showroom this winter include a variety of accent chairs and tables as well as decorative consoles.

Along with the new product assortment, the company also has several marketing initiatives and social events planned for the January Market:

  • The Daily Buzz: The Hooker Furnishings showroom will again be hosting its popular happy hour, “The Daily Buzz,” Sunday through Tuesday of Market, beginning at 3 p.m. Customers are encouraged to stop by at their leisure for “a daily download, where drinks are poured, and tea is spilled.”

  • Las Vegas Market 2023 Winter Designer Soiree: Hosted by Las Vegas Market, Hooker Furnishings will participate as a product sponsor at the bi-annual, invite only designer reception on Monday evening, January 30, 2023, from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Legacy Club in the Circa Resort & Casino. Invited attendees will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for the chance to win one of two Hooker Furnishings products, including an Accentrics Home Walnut Two Door Chest and a Sam Moore Nova Swivel Chair.

  • ASID’s Industry Partner Tour: The Hooker Furnishings showroom is slated to be the final stop on ASID’s “Industry Partner Tour” at Market. The tour is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 30, from 2 – 4 p.m. and will end at the Hooker Furnishings showroom for a small reception and ASID toast.

The Hooker Furniture, Bradington-Young, Sam Moore and Accentrics Home brands can be found in the Hooker Furnishings Showroom in Building A, Space 236. Sunset West, a division of Hooker Furnishings, will continue to occupy its dedicated showroom in Building B, Space 162.
