Standard Fiber, a global supplier to the home textile market, is looking forward to presenting its exclusive product and technology introductions, in addition to unveiling updates on its ESG initiatives during Las Vegas Market Week, January 29 - February 2 in its new showroom located at the Las Vegas World Market, Suite C1575 at 455 S Grand Central Parkway.
Standard Fiber opened its permanent 2,500 square foot showroom last summer to better service its customers who come to Las Vegas to do business throughout the year. Shortly after the opening of its Las Vegas Showroom, the company built a new filling facility and distribution center in Henderson, NV to provide a new domestic fulfillment resource for its customers’ freight-sensitive bedding products.
“The key theme for us during Las Vegas Market is Always Evolving, which is a direct outcome of the consistent dialog we have with our customers to help accelerate their success,” said Brandon Wells, Standard Fiber EVP/GM – Mattress Division. “Our new showroom provides us with the perfect settingto have these conversations with our many existing customers, and to introduce all Standard Fiber has to offer to prospective customers.”
Following is a brief preview of key innovations that Standard Fiber will be highlighting during the Las Vegas Market:
-
Fire retardant mattress cover solutions, including glassFRee™ - glass free fire-retardant solutions that are antimony free and aid in passing 16 CFR Part 1633.
-
Sustainovation – Standard Fiber’s state of renewal innovations that include bio-based antimicrobial treatments, bio-based foam, compostable packaging solutions, H2eCO™ textile finishing processes, GRS certified post-consumer recycled polyester, PFAS free options, and its carbon reduction program.
-
Elements of Sleep - The company will showcase several bedding products in its showroom highlighting exciting materials to help consumers sleep cool and soundly, including the new Ionic+ antimicrobial performance yarns which provide protection for the lifetime of the textile.
Upon returning from a successful Heimtextil show, where Standard Fiber exhibited after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the company stated that sustainability and innovation were a key focus of the show.
“We continued to see sustainability at the forefront of many of our conversations with customers and prospects at Heimtextil 2023”, said Chad Altbaier, Standard Fiber CCO. “However, it’s clear that consumers are expecting an equivalent level of performance and innovation for environmentally responsible home textiles, supported by 3rd party validation of the claims being made.”
