This spring, Precedent highlights its latest introductions at spring High Point Market. This season they are celebrating key design trends such as throwbacks to 70s-80s vintage retro, sustainable eco-friendly materials, and bold geometric patterns. Their product introductions include a mix of upholstered sofas, chairs, and dining chairs. A unique update is the addition of curved shapes and soft edges, which can be seen throughout the new product lineup.
“Warm, organic neutrals continue to be extremely popular for us, but we are seeing more deep, mesmerizing jewel-tones, and patterns on the rise,” said Tom Zaliagiris, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Precedent.
Cozy vintage-retro furniture pieces from the late 70s and early 80s are making a comeback in a modern way. These designs can be seen throughout the new Precedent showroom and are characterized by clean lines, bold colors, and unique shapes.
With the growing concern for the environment, Precedent continues to opt in for more sustainable materials like recycled steel and lumber. For upholstery, they have a strong focus on eco-friendly textiles and have recently partnered with InsideOut Performance Fabrics® on a selection of fabrics that are part of the new SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, featuring OEKO-TEX certified yarns that are made from repurposed marine litter.
Also, Precedent’s lead times continue to improve and are now 6-7 weeks. Precedent's Express program lead time is 4 weeks.
