In honor of Earth Month, Malouf Home™ has released its third annual impact report highlighting its company-wide sustainability and charitable initiatives. The report details how Malouf supports customers through high-quality products, eco-friendly options, and a business structured to give back.
"Today's consumers are looking for brands that are socially responsible, and this is a trend we are seeing across many industries. Through our initiatives at Malouf, we serve our triple bottom line of people, planet, and profits and provide our retail partners with high-quality products they, and their customers, can feel good about,” said Eric Holmstead, president of Malouf.
Malouf joined the B Corp community in 2019, alongside brands like Patagonia, Athleta, and Warby Parker. Certified B Corporations® must undergo a rigorous certification process through the non-profit organization B Labs. This third-party assessment ensures that customers can trust a company’s claims and commients. They are also required to publish an annual impact report to remain accountable for their actions and increase awareness about the B Corp movement.
Detailed in the retroactive report are significant social and environmental initiatives Malouf supported in 2022. The report features information on employee benefits, waste-reducing adaptations to product, sustainable sourcing choices, and program reports on how funding for the Malouf Foundation has been distributed to help survivors.
Kacie Malouf, co-founder of Malouf and board chair of the Malouf Foundation, said, “We strive to always support our employees and give back the community. The Malouf Foundation is a core part of who we are, both as a company and a brand.”
