Hickory Chair Reveals Plans for Its Next Chapter

This fall Hickory Chair will celebrate its 5-year anniversary as part of the Rock House Farms Family of Brands. To celebrate this next chapter in its storied 112-year history, Hickory Chair reveals plans for the October 2023 International Home Furnishings Market as it reveals its new High Point Showroom. Located at 200 N. Hamilton Street, the new Hickory Chair Showroom will become an important anchor of the Hamilton Wrenn Design District. The company has collaborated with each of its iconic design partners, Suzanne Kasler, Ray Booth, David Phoenix, Susan Hable, Kim Scodro and Hickory Chair VP Creative Director, Skip Rumley to introduce one of the largest product and fabric introductions in company history.
The company will be launching a new collection, the Hable Outdoor Collection, as it enters a new category, outdoor living spaces. This first collection for outdoor was designed by Susan Hable with distinctive Teak, Metal and Woven collections. In collaboration with Susan, the company has created distinctive finishes for each unique series. The company will support this new category and collection with a robust assortment of outdoor fabrics.
In addition, Ward O’Quinn will be moving into the role of Vice President Sales effective May 1, 2023. He joined the company in April 2021 as a Sales Representative. He has proven himself to be a trusted and valuable asset to both the company and the customers in his territory. During his career he has served in leadership roles in sales, product development and marketing.
