KUKA HOME Expands Design Capabilities with New Hire Mary Ballard

KUKA HOME, an upholstered furniture manufacturer, recently announced Mary Ballard has joined the company as Director of Merchandising for their North American division, a new position for the company. With over 20 years of experience in the furniture industry, Ballard brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role. She reports directly to Sergio Barrios, the SVP of Product Development and Design.

In her new role, Mary will manage strategic product direction, design forecasts, and effective merchandising management for KUKA HOME's product lines. She will also oversee the layout and planning of the showrooms. "We are thrilled to welcome Mary Ballard to the KUKA HOME team," said Sergio Barrios. "With her extensive experience and passion for product, she will strengthen our product lines, showroom display and overall customer experience. Ballard joins KUKA HOME from Gabriel White, where she was Senior Category Manager for Upholstery and Soft Goods. Ballard has held other prominent positions at esteemed design companies, such as Bellwether Partners, Baker, Maitland-Smith, Henredon, and Bassett.

Ballard's appointment as the Director of Merchandising is a significant addition to KUKA HOME as the company continues establishing itself as a leading home furniture design house.
