Flexsteel Industries Moves to New High Point Showroom

Flexsteel Industries announced that it has relocated its High Point showroom to the sixth floor of IHFC’s Commerce wing.

The new 60,000-square-foot layout will allow more room to feature best-selling and new introductions at the October High Point Market.

"As we evaluated our overall showroom presence, it was important for us to stay in a convenient location for our buyers," said David Crimmins, VP of Sales and Product Management at Flexsteel. "The guiding principle in this project was to create a more welcoming space for our customers while offering the functionality we need to ensure successful furniture markets and year-round use.

“Keeping pace with evolving consumer preferences, the new space is designed to reflect a modern retail environment. As the demographics of furniture-buying consumers continue to shift, it is essential that we also adapt and offer a space that best represents our products."

Overall Design

“The showroom is an updated, modern functional space that people will want to return to,” added Flexsteel's Merchandising and Interior Design Manager, Elizabeth Sechler.  “Knowing our local team is growing, we included office space and private areas with an offsite work feel.”

The Heart of the Showroom: The Market (cafeteria)

“As part of this transformation, a new café called "The Market," a central hotspot, will encourage group conversation or brainstorming at community-style tables. There will also be a seating section where conversation is limited. The space can be transformed to host evening celebrations with retailers.”
