North American furniture distributor Coaster Fine Furniture is hosting a special event to honor its long-time partner, “We Set the Stage,” a premier home staging and furnishings company, at High Point Market on Saturday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Coaster showroom.
A pioneer in home-selling marketing, We Set the Stage first turned to Coaster Fine Furniture five years ago as a vendor for a new kind of property staging business, one that would grow and expand across the country via a franchise model. Through its relationship with Coaster, We Set the Stage today supplies its franchisees with fashionable, high-quality, room packages of product to successfully market a home for sale without having to shop multiple sources for product.
“This partnership has been a success for both of our companies from the start, but what no one anticipated was that buyers who purchased the properties designed by We Set the Stage would also want to purchase all of the furniture they saw inside,” said Don Deeds, vice president of business development and dealer growth for Coaster. “Again and again, consumers perceived the interiors We Set the Stage created with our products as high quality and on trend, and the buyers wanted it all.”
“That wasn’t part of our original business plan for We Set the Stage, but Coaster made it easy for us to offer the interiors we had designed for sale.” said Courtney Clark, co-founder of We Set the Stage.
Additionally, Clark said, Coaster’s national distribution means stagers never have to turn down a project due to lack of inventory, no matter where they are located in the country, whether staging a property for sale or creating fully furnished interiors to live in.
“We supply the stagers with a digital catalog, which we call Coaster Retail Connect, that shows them what's in stock and available right now for any job they need to do,” Deeds said. “They can plan and design a project quickly, effectively, and even schedule delivery of the products so they can run their businesses as efficiently as possible and move on to their next project.”
Coaster’s expansive product line of high-quality and affordable furniture options is a key selling point for We Set the Stage, according to Clark.
“We genuinely appreciate what Coaster offers in terms of high-quality, fashion forward and affordable pricing,” she said. “From the first time they walked us through the showroom at Market, we felt they catered to the needs of stagers and designers. They make us aware of what is trending in terms of styles and materials, and they have product for the everyday and the upscale. We can’t say enough about the options. Their looks compete with some of the most luxurious brands on the market today at pricing that makes it a no-brainer. Working with Coaster has been a game changer for our business.”
