Meridian Furniture is doubling the size of its space in the IHFC Commerce Wing this Market with a new showroom (IHFC C403), and a special event for the design community on Sunday evening, April 14 at 5 p.m.

A fast-growing furniture brand known for its modern contemporary aesthetic; Meridian Furniture is heading to High Point Market with hundreds of new additions to its vast, ever-changing product line of reasonably priced, high-style designs sourced from around the world. The difference is that almost 90 percent of the new products it will show retailers and designers this week are already in stock and available for immediate shipment from its 400,000-square-foot New Jersey warehouse.

Unlike the majority of furniture companies, we don’t adhere to traditional tradeshow cycles. Rather than bring in samples twice a year in April and October and wait to see how they are received before we commit, we hit the ground running. We bring in product when it’s hot in Europe because I’m confident in my sourcing decisions and we’re not scared of inventory as a company.”

Among the new looks this season, watch for modular sofas, benches and chenille covered beds. Designed to elevate sleep with cozy sophistication, the Paxton Chenille Fabric Bed offers the subtle sheen of rich mint chenille and is ideal for both traditional and contemporary spaces.

The Ames Boucle sofa is designed to introduce a touch of modern sophistication to any living space, while the Pavilion Boucle four-piece modular bench blends style and usability for any entryway or bedroom. The Art Deco style of the bench’s columnar base makes it a strong focal point in a space.

Adding to the modular collections, the Arc Velvet eight-piece sectional is a curved modular sofa, upholstered in rich brown velvet fabric. The sofa features deep channel tufting to enhance comfort and support. The modular design allows for limitless configurations.
