Legacy Classic Modern Debuts First Trisha Yearwood Collection with multiple finishes and woods

One of country music superstar Trisha Yearwood’s signature hits, “XXX’s and OOO’s,” has inspired the name of a new 50-piece modern farmhouse whole-home furniture collection being introduced at HPMKT here this week.
The bedroom, dining and occasional group, which uses multiple finishes and multiple wood species, is Yearwood’s 10th collection in the home furnishings industry and the first introduced by her new partner, Legacy Classic | Modern. The Legacy team first officially launched with Yearwood at last year’s Fall Market, but the Spring Market debut represents the first full collection presentation since Legacy signed with Yearwood in 2023.
Her 10th collection coincides with a significant milestone for her new furniture manufacturing partner.
"My new XXX's and OOO's Collection holds a special place in my heart as my 10th furniture introduction, debuted during Legacy Classic | Modern's 25th year in business," Trisha Yearwood said. "XXX's and OOO's continues my philosophy of simple, honest and comfortable furniture, designed and crafted with today's consumer in mind. We've combined classic architectural forms and shapes with a unique mixture of finishes. One distinct feature of XXX's and OOO's is a reversible panel on a modern dining display cabinet that allows the consumer to use any of the 4 finishes on the panel, creating a custom look," Yearwood said. All finishes are available on the case of the cabinet as well. Paying homage to its namesake, the collection also includes X-and-O motifs on hardware and pieces.
The collection marries approachable silhouettes with inviting finishes to help create a home refuge with comfort and style in mind. The main finishes are Cotton, used on Birch Veneers, and Amber, used on Mindi Veneers. The Cocoa Finish is used primarily on table bases and on Red Oak Veneer. The soft blue Bellflower accent finish on Red Oak Veneers adds a splash of color to pieces such as a wardrobe and dining chairs.
“There are multiple finishes in the line so that the group can work in all parts of the country,” said Chris Pelcher, Legacy Classic | Modern president. “We didn’t want the collection to be limited. The styling of the product is such that, based on the finish chosen, it can be positioned anywhere from New England to the Southeast, Chicago to San Diego and everywhere in between. It’s very versatile.”
Priced similarly as other collections in the Yearwood line, XXX’s and OOO’s offers form, function and her comfortable aesthetic. “Trisha projects approachability,” Pelcher said. “She’s obviously a celebrity, but at the same time she feels like she could be your next-door neighbor. In person, she’s a kind and incredible human being, so there’s no disconnect between the person and the celebrity. The furniture is extremely approachable and authentic.”
