53rd CIFF Guangzhou Concludes with Record-Breaking Attendance

The 53rd edition of CIFF Guangzhou recently wrapped up, witnessing a substantial increase in exhibitors and trade visitors, reflecting growth in international furniture trade engagement. The fair expanded its footprint to 850,000 square meters and welcomed 4,700 exhibitors, which is an 11.8% increase from the previous high in 2019. Additionally, the event saw 363,449 trade visitors, including 51,205 international attendees from 178 countries.
Held at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, CIFF solidified its role as a significant global furniture fair and a key business and product research platform in Asia. The fair's 53rd iteration focused on enhancing scale, product range, quality, and business opportunities, offering insights into the latest design trends, the scope of 'Made in China' furniture, and fostering global business relationships.
Spanning eight days and two phases, the event covered the entire furniture industry supply chain. It garnered an international presence in terms of attendance and the quality of offerings. Exhibitors showcased sophisticated designs with attention to materials and details, meeting market demands and attracting influential buyers and interior designers worldwide.
The fair also featured a range of exhibitions, lectures, and forums led by notable designers, journalists, and curators, providing a dynamic communication platform for trend development and networking.
The first phase, dedicated to Home Furniture, occurred from March 18-21, displaying an array of home furnishings, decorations, textiles, and outdoor leisure furniture systems. It emphasized contemporary design solutions and smart home advancements, including 'smart sleep' systems.
The second phase, focusing on Office Furniture and Commercial Spaces from March 28-31, positioned itself as the largest platform for workplace systems. It showcased smart office solutions, public and commercial space designs, and furniture catering to health care and the aging population, integrating aesthetics, functionality, technology, and sustainability.
CIFM/interzum Guangzhou 2024 paralleled the main event, highlighting innovations and smart solutions across the furniture industry's supply chain, with special attention to original surface design, high-end furniture production, and machinery driven by artificial intelligence.
Looking forward to the next event, the 55th CIFF Guangzhou is scheduled in two phases: March 18-21, 2025, for home furniture, and March 28-31, 2025, for office and commercial furniture, along with machinery and raw materials.
