16th Annual Ante4autism Event Announces Celebrities and Sponsors

The 16th Annual Ante4autism event, to be held on July 27th at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, has unveiled its lineup of celebrities and sponsors for this year’s charity poker tournament. The event will feature well-known personalities including Jose & Ozzie Canseco, Norman Chad, William Hung, and Randy Couture.

Intermountain Health, based in Nevada, has committed as a $2,500 Gold Sponsor. Dr. Joyce Cassen has pledged $1,000 as a Silver sponsor, and EduCare4U along with Colonial have each signed on as $500 Bronze sponsors. These contributions bolster the support from an array of sponsors including Bedding Industries of America, 3Z Brands, Furniture First, Leggett & Platt, and TD Retail Card Services among others.

The event is dedicated to raising funds for five autism-related charities: Autism Speaks, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital – The Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Grant A Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center, National Autism Association of Southeast Ohio, and Stockhands Horses for Healing.

Doug Krinsky, founder of the event, expressed his appreciation for the broad support, saying, “We are excited about the lineup of celebrities who will bring additional spotlight to this cause.” He added, “The continued support from our sponsors and participants is vital for the success of this event and in making a positive impact on the autism community.”

The event will begin with registration at 5:30 PM, followed by the start of the tournament at 6:30 PM, and the official "shuffle up and deal" call at approximately 7 PM. Participants can enter the tournament with a $200 fee, and rebuys are available during the first hour. The South Point Hotel and Casino is also offering special room rates for the event weekend.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that the current prevalence rate of autism is 1 in 36 children, highlighting the importance of continued support and awareness for autism spectrum disorders.
