Wichita Furniture Inc. Names Jordan Storey President

Wichita Furniture Inc. has named industry veteran Jordan Storey President of the company, which owns and operates four furniture and mattress stores and a massive distribution center in Wichita. Jay Storey, founder and long-time President and CEO of the 35-year-old, family-owned company, announced the promotion and continues as Chairman. His son Jordan Storey, has most recently served as Executive Vice President.

Effective immediately, Jordan Storey will be taking over the leadership role as President of Wichita Furniture Inc. and its subsidiaries including the local Ashley brand,” said Jay B. Storey. “Jordan's journey in the furniture industry is deeply rooted in his upbringing. His passion for this industry has grown stronger over time. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with degrees in Business and Sociology, Jordan has had hands-on experience within our company since 2014. His unwavering dedication, coupled with a passion for excellence, has shaped him into a natural leader. Under Jordan's leadership, we can anticipate fresh perspectives and innovative strategies that will propel Wichita Furniture Inc. towards sustained growth for many years to come. I have had the privilege of guiding this company for 35 years and it is time to hand over the reins to the next generation.
