Karl and Cathi Glassman Donate $5,000 to Ante4autism Event as Platinum Sponsors

Karl and Cathi Glassman, longtime supporters of the Ante4autism event, have donated $5,000 to become Platinum sponsors again this year. Co-Host Mike McQuiston also announced that Carpenter, Ashley Furniture, and Youngstown State University Foundation are among the sponsors, with Carpenter and Ashley Furniture contributing $5,000 each as Platinum sponsors, and Youngstown State University Foundation participating as a Bronze sponsor. Additionally, actor and model Nadia Dawn will play at this year's event.

The 16th Annual Ante4autism event will feature nine trip experiences in the silent auction. Details, including minimum bids and buy-now prices for all trips, are available on the Ante4autism website.

Proceeds from the event, to be held on Saturday, July 27th at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, will benefit five autism-related charities: Autism Speaks, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital – The Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Grant A Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center, National Autism Association of Southeast Ohio, and Stockhands Horses for Healing. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for companies and individuals. The entry fee to play is $200, with rebuys available for the first hour of play. Registration opens at 5:30 PM, the event begins at 6:30 PM, and the game starts at approximately 7 PM. The South Point Hotel and Casino is offering a special room rate for the event: $59/$109 plus an $18 resort fee, using the code “ANT0727” when booking.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the prevalence rate of autism spectrum disorder is now 1 in 36 children. The Ante4autism event supports families, children, and adults on the autism spectrum.
