Veteran Retailers and a Rising Star Honored in Shifman's 2023 Awards

Shifman Mattresses, renowned for its handcrafted, luxury mattresses, recently honored three retail partners for outstanding performance in 2023. Sensenig’s Furniture, BiltRite Furniture and North Elm Home Furnishings were recognized with the prestigious Shifman Retailer Achievement Awards.

A dedicated Shifman partner for more than 64 years, Sensenig’s in New Holland, Pennsylvania, received the Platinum Award for 2023, marking their fourth honor from the luxury mattress maker. The retailer previously earned the Gold Awards in 2004 and 2021 and a Platinum Award in 2005. Sensenig’s has consistently demonstrated excellence in showcasing and selling Shifman’s handcrafted mattresses.

“Sensenig’s longstanding commitment and exceptional performance make it a deserving recipient of the highest honor this year,” said Bill Hammer, Shifman president.

Wisconsin-based BiltRite was honored with the Gold Award. In 2023, BiltRite celebrated an impressive 95 years in business, evolving and thriving through nearly a century of change. BiltRite’s partnership with Shifman reflects its dedication to offering superior products and exceptional customer service. In addition to this partner recognition, BiltRite was named the Home Furnishings Association Retailer of the Year for 2023.

A rising star in the industry and Shifman partner for seven years, North Elm Home received the Silver Award for the second time, having previously won in 2021. Housed in the historic Johnson antique building in the vibrant village of Millerton, New York, North Elm Home creatively blends contemporary styles with the charm of the past.

Hammer noted, “During its partnership with Shifman, North Elm has demonstrated a unique approach to retail and an unwavering dedication to quality, making them a valuable partner.”
