Arteriors, a provider of luxury lighting, furniture, wall décor, and accessories, unveils its second collaboration
with award-winning design and architecture firm Workshop/APD. This highly anticipated
25-piece collection, launching alongside the new 188-piece Arteriors Fall 2024 Collection,
highlights seven distinct themes - Melt, Glaze, Stitch, Roll, Punch, Clasp, and Inset - each telling a unique
story of craftsmanship and conceptual design, influenced by acts of making and transformation, from technological
advances and time-honored techniques to wear by time and weather.
Workshop/APD for Arteriors
Building on the success of their first partnership, Workshop/APD, helmed by founding principals Andrew
Kotchen and Matthew Berman, infused this second collaboration with a dynamic sense
of movement, where materials are artfully manipulated into captivating forms and textures. The collection
includes lighting, wall decor, accessories, and – unlike the first collection – expands into
furniture, showcasing a harmonious blend of mixed materials from hand-stitched leather to molten glass.
The materiality of the collection is tied to its form, with each movement and shape guiding the transformation
into unique structures. This design philosophy is embodied in Melt, the flagship concept of the collection, which
explores seemingly molten forms in glass, wood, stone, and metal, evoking the interplay of ice and lava. Melt
introduces these dynamic forms across lighting, furniture, and wall art, using materials like smoked wood,
galaxy marble, and gesso-plated iron to enhance the transformative nature of each piece. The collection also
introduces Punch, a minimalist approach to outdoor lighting with perforated curved steel cylinders that
seamlessly integrate into exterior spaces, alongside expansions of the popular
Glaze and Roll lines and the newly introduced Clasp, Stitch, and Inset collections. Each piece reflects
Workshop/APD’s unwavering commitment to blending traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation.
“Our approach to this collection was deeply inspired by the transformative process—how simple acts
like stitching, melting, or glazing can completely change the character of a material,” said Berman.
“The evolution from our first collaboration with Arteriors to this collection was inspiring and liberating,
too, allowing us to explore design techniques that honor both tradition and modernity.”
To bring warmth and humanity to the designs, the Workshop/APD team infused this sentiment throughout the
collection. “As a firm, we’re passionate about the spaces between. This applies to structures,
spaces, and materials, but also to past and present, to varying disciplines, partners and collaborators, and so
much more,” said Workshop/APD associate principal Andrew Kline. “Collaborating with Arteriors allows
us to work closely with artisans who can fully realize our visions and bring innovative concepts like these to
life.”
Barb Fuller, Vice President of Marketing at Arteriors, expressed, “Continued partnerships thrive on
leveraging our history and uncovering innovative solutions to achieve even greater results. Our ongoing
collaboration with Workshop/APD embodies this principle, reinforcing our brand’s commitment to exceptional
design through meaningful partnerships with trusted experts.”
F24 Core Collection
The Fall 2024 Collection exemplifies Arteriors’ tradition of reinvention and commitment to distinctive
design. Rooted in the brand’s primary design muses - form, scale, style, material, texture, and palette -
this collection pushes the boundaries of artistry while honoring traditional craftsmanship and storied
techniques. Each piece is a testament to our dedication to transforming spaces, from inviting living areas to
avant-garde social settings.
The collection showcases a diverse range of inspirations, such as the terrestrial icicles captured in the Gia
Chandelier and the celestial beauty of the Helios Chandelier. Arteriors continues to be champions of sustainable
design, incorporating materials like eggshells in the Forney Coffee Table and Hesner Candleholders,
and coconut in the Bilal Flush Mount, a fresh take on the previous season’s Bilal Chandelier. This
collection also brings fresh finishes including sparrow reactive seen on the Frontera Centerpiece and quail egg
on the Gola Lamp, alongside new glass finishes like mocha coffee swirl glass in the Hadden Chandelier
and ombre foggy glass in the Flagstaff Pendant.
Building on our successful Arteriors Outdoor debut in March 2024, the F24 Collection introduces 17 new outdoor
pieces, spanning dining, lounge, lighting, and planter options. These additions reflect Arteriors’
innovative approach to seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living, offering unique solutions to
enhance any space.
The Workshop/APD for Arteriors and F24 Collections debut on September 12, 2024. All will be available on
arteriorshome.com and in Arteriors' three U.S. showrooms: New York, Dallas, and the brand-new Los Angeles location
located in the heart of West Hollywood’s design district. The collection will be displayed at Fall 2024 High
Point Market (October 26 - 30) at the Arteriors showroom in the C&D Building. For more information, visit
