After being acquired by Surya Inc. in late 2023, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams (MG+BW) is making its return to the design community, offering iconic favorites alongside new customization options. The relaunch focuses exclusively on serving trade professionals, with a revamped digital experience and a new showroom debuting at the Fall 2024 High Point Market from October 25–30.

“We are thrilled to relaunch this iconic brand with a fresh perspective while preserving the craftsmanship, quality, and design excellence that originally made MG+BW a favored choice for designers,” said Satya Tiwari, President of Surya Inc. The new strategy emphasizes ease of customization for interior designers, who can now access an expanded range of fabrics, leathers, and finishes through an upgraded website and showroom experience.

The MG+BW collection offers customizable upholstery, including sofas, sectionals, and chairs, as well as case goods available in a variety of finishes and hardware options. These products are made by hand at the company’s original factory in Taylorsville, North Carolina. “Our furniture is handmade,” said Mitchell Gold, co-founder and current advisor to the brand. “There are a lot of skilled hands that touch each product before it leaves the factory.”
